hidden treasure
i found a boxfull of trinkets i used to take and hide when i was young
the things are all still there!
bean bags
marbles
cute erasers
dried flowers
birthday cards
haha
its like a treasure chest of memories
kind of brought me back to when we
played badminton on the streets
climbed up to a hilltop to play soccer and look for pitcher plants
climbed into drains to race boats made of leaves
came home to the smell of my granny's dinner
it was a time away from this somewhat very tech-filled and hectic life we have now
back then
the roads were silent
the hill did not have a house perching on top of it
the pitcher plants did not get cut off
and the drain water was oh-so-clean
i still had time to visit my granny
im glad i found some of what life was before i leave
