i dont know.... anyone who has left kuching and come back for holidays cant really leave home again without a late night visit to our open air (A) market right. lol this is the place where kuching people our age go to eat at after what... 11 pm?

and the red kolo mee and the fish /duck kolo mee at the back of the errmmm first part of the market

annen we have this section of the market with the not-so-nice ochien and bernie's fav porridge (its seriously like they dumped rice into water ok)
sigh the good old days when we just drive there in the middle of the night eih?
prolly replaces the non-existant mamak stalls
BTW they re-did the roads around the padang area and the market area and it is a SHAME TO CIVVIE engineering wei they had like four roads leading into the area and one road leading out only and that only == traffic jam *duh* well at least now they re-did it again and its kind of okay and anyway eventhough its right NEXT TO OUR POLICE STATION its not like those mata do anything when people around there break the law and chinchai drive anywhere they want. *the little joys of kuching/malaysia* where kopi-o lui gets you most stuff you want

oh yeah and they're tearing down some of the good old markets with the really fishy smells and moving the stalls to that market in tabuan desa near john's house cause its cleaner there but the people dont really wanna move. dang. kch really changed since i left lor.
