I spoke with Prof. Love and she is excited by the opportunity as much as I am. Since you are already committed to a summer internship in Malaysia, let us plan to meet the first week of August and decide the scope of the project then. I envision the project going from August to December. When the WISE funding is depleted, I will augment with someof my own personal funds; the alternative option is to enroll for independent study (which ever you prefer).
We are looking forward to working with you this Fall - you will be spearheading a new project between our two groups so this should be anexciting project.
