Hello World

today was an interesting day.

well not very but quite.

morning we had breakfast at the Blue Lounge at GG Brown.

the lecturers and staff cooked pancakes, waffles and sausage patties for students, complemented with strawberries, fruit, juice and The main thing, coffee.

lol

well it was a rather homey sight to see our lecturers cooking instead of holding chalks (yes they use chalkboards too) and then sitting down with them and talking about stuff.

sat down with my CEE friends as well and talked for quite some time. which is something we normally dont do.

had coversations ranging from...

insane colleges in New York where the work load is very very tuff, to baseball and football and then to solar beams, lazer beams, Austin Powers (lol) and solar panels to fraternities and sororities.

should really do this more often.

speaking of which i got invited to join one...fraternity? which accepts females as well.

Chi Epsilon XE.

well this guy came into our structural analysis class and started calling out names and handing out letters to people.

Ben, Cristine, Corey, Heather and i got one each.

meeting's next wed i guess i ll go check it out. its some civil engineering honors frat or something like that. eeks

funny.

ps.

Nic Katapodes just told us that ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers) announced that to be a professional civvie working in the states you HAVE to have a MASTERs. BSE isnt going to get you a job. Apparently lah. Ah well. I wonder what I have to do cause doing Environmental. later then check la.
