the talk
there was a talk on Energy by Amory Lovins today at the Biomed center at 4pm.
According to Newsweek he is "one of the Western world's most influential energy thinkers.."
and boy can he think! modification of pipe systems, using insulations intead of heating systems, saving up to 60+% energy? wow. really an eye opener.
So the talk was at 4pm, problem was, we have a environmental class till 4.30. solution? skip class. lol.

Our professor whose class we skipped just had to come in and sit right in front of us. eeks right? GSI was teaching the class and he went for the talk as well. OMG i was trying so hard not to snort in front of all those proferssors and people attending the talk. gosh.
Professor Kim Hayes.
yupp.. well Raj tapped him on the shoulder and informed him that we were there.
and so he was like "oh, you guys skipped class"
and we were "yupp, we really had to rush to get here on time"
and he was discussing with the other professors sitting in front of him about 'some of his students skipping class to get here'
guess it doesnt matter.
